From the Back Cover
"In this much-needed book, Stephen Baskerville exposes how--by destroying marriage and family--sexual revolutionaries are destroying the bulwarks that protect the liberty of ordinary men and women. In compelling detail, he explains how these zealots are shackling us to an ever more intrusive bureaucratic state, one that dictates what we can do, say, and even think in the relationships that matter most in our lives. Baskerville's analysis deserves widespread attention."--BRYCE CHRISTENSEN, author of Utopia Against the Family"I could not put this endlessly fascinating book down after opening it. It reveals how due-process violations and anti-male bias pervade family and divorce courts, and how the breakdown of the family due to no-fault divorce is costly to taxpayers, even as the welfare state fuels it further. It describes how a suffocating climate of political correctness in academia has kept the public in the dark about these abuses. Readers may disagree with parts of it (as I did), but anyone concerned about civil liberties or the family will benefit from reading it."--HANS BADER, senior attorney, Competitive Enterprise Institute"The New Politics of Sex is a brilliant, long-needed, diagnosis of the deliberately fostered collapse of the institutions of the West. It is a must-read for anyone who has authority (parents, pastors, teachers, politicians, administrators, judges, police, doctors, and more). Never has humankind been up against so darkly brilliant and pervasive an enemy as the one Baskerville unveils. Purchase as many as you can to distribute, and write about it, blog about it, talk about it."--PATRICK F. FAGAN, Director, Marriage and Religion Research Institute"In this new and vitally important contribution to the analysis of the Sexual Revolution, Stephen Baskerville shows how we have become a nation of beta-male Pajama Boys; how it was intentional, where it has taken us, what it portends, and how even conservatives have missed it."--AUSTIN RUSE, President, Center for Family & Human Rights"There is or should be nothing more private than sex. In a politically incorrect and courageous book, Stephen Baskerville shows the inevitable consequences of making it public, which ends up destroying the boundaries between the private and the political, thus politicizing everything."--ROBERT R. REILLY, author of Making Gay Okay

A very important book. Sadly, I predict it will be largely ignored even by "conservatives" because the analysis is so painful to acknowledge and act on. Baskerville emphasizes the huge impact no-fault divorce has had on our society, yet points out that "pro-family" organizations never bring it up in their analyses of the decline of marriage and family. He documents the breathtaking corruption and unaccountability in our justice system related to vaguely defined sexual crimes. And then there is the attack on parental rights as our children and grandchildren are sexualized (and politicized) by the perverts in charge of our institutions. But what will be done about these issues?I write this as an older woman who almost had her life destroyed by the emotional feminist assault while in my 20s. Luckily I woke up in time!
I’m in my mid 40-ies and a reader. I’ve never felt compelled to write a review. This book along with “Taken Into Custody†are different. Read independently or as complements, these books represent the most rigorous and sober assessment of the dominant political ideology of the Anglo-Saxon West that I’ve come across. The books track the emergence, evolution and manifestations of this ideology and analyze its consequences. “The New Politics†more so than “Taken Into Custody†puts this ideology in civilizational context and exposes the perverse civilizational cross-pollinations as well conflicts. Both of these books are milestones in political analysis and, one day, during more aware times, they will be honored as such.Besides a reader, I’m also a survivor of totalitarian communism. Growing up in Eastern Europe, I would lock the door and listen to broadcasts of The Voice of America for a chance to hear truths unadulterated by an oppressive ideology. How sad that, over the course of just two or three generations, America would succumb to an oppressive ideology herself.
This is a very well-documented book of extreme importance for every free society. Dr. Baskerville reveals the deception and details the true motives in feminism, and explains how its philosophy and strategy now also defines and motivates homosexualism - it's all about eliminating dads and replacing them with the state.Whether liberal or conservative... If you vote, you need to read this. If you are a government leader, educator, or pastor, you need to read this. Most of importantly, if you are a parent and care about the state of society for your children, you need to read this book.
This book is a resource for intellectually honest thinkers who want to see with understanding how the Left-wing and Right-wing both are fostering a culture of sexual politics.Excerpts below illustrate the scholarship and density of this volume:'Power is the alpha and omega of contemporary Communism,' wrote Milovan Djilas during the repressions of the 1950s. 'Ideas, philosophical principles and moral considerations...all can be changed and sacrificed. But not power.' Sexual radicalism shows a similar absence of fixed principles and adopts irreconcilably contradictory positions as needed . . .The quest for 'power' is precisely what today's critics have missed.. . . the dissolution of the family threatens not only social order but civic freedom. Moreover, it does so in ways that are not easy to perceive, and have not been clearly perceived, even by those who see themselves as the family's defenders.Today's family crisis must be understood politically, and this is precisely where self-described family advocates have failed. The full dimensions of the family crisis can only be understood politically, because the family is the pivotal intermediary between the individual and the state. . . In the long run, the married, two-parent heterosexual family is the only family configuration that is compatible with a stable, prosperous, and free society, because it is the only one that checks and diminishes the state's monopoly on power; all others necessarily increase it. For the same reason, it is the only one targeted by state officials.
