Santa's ride is in need of some serious TLC so all the elves are tasked with designing new and better versions of Santa's sleigh. Without giving anything away, one elf has a perfect, and perfectly unexpected, solution. Kids will delight in the crazy sled ideas that illustrator Jake Parker created and Rinker's rhyming prose is a perfect Christmas season read aloud.
This is the best book ever! I originally bought one for my 7 year old grandson. However, after reading it, I had to buy this book for myself and my 36 year old son! He is a truck driver and a great mechanic. Also he has built his own rock crawler, so this book was perfect for him! It is the best! We ALL really enjoyed it! Thank you for writing this. Illustrations are even better!
Great holiday book. My 3 year old son loves this book just as much as Steam Train Dream Train and Good Night Good Night Construction Site.
Fun new Christmas story, with STEM tie-ins. Would be a great springboard for a sleigh building contest with LEGOs/KNEXs or recycled objects.
I bought this book for a different Christmas story to add to our collection but I had low expectations; however, we were delighted with this book! My son and I both love story and he has requested this book to be read every night. Unlike some books that I dread reading, I love this one as much as he does!
